Political correctness is really getting out of control, so far that people in congress will spend Tax payer time and money – which they don’t have – on useless pointless made up things.
Following is an email I received by Email (H/T C.A.R.) which I found astonishing:
In a Pepsi Max Super Bowl commercial, a black couple is sitting on a park bench having an argument. The black woman in anger throws a can of Pepsi Max at her boyfriend but misses and instead hits a white woman in the head who is sitting on another park bench, knocking her out cold. Then the black couple look at each other, laugh and then run away leaving the white woman unconscious on the ground.
This isn’t the funny part of the commercial though. The funny part of the commercial is that some African-Americans believe that this ad was racist and insensitive towards Black Americans. Yep, towards Black Americans. Yep, you got it. And no I’m no kidding, insensitive towards Black Americans. Confused yet?
Remember now, the white woman in the commercial was the one who got hit in the head, knocked unconscious and left for dead while the black couple fled the scene of the crime.
But to morons like Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-Texas) this ad was so “Demeaning” towards Black Americans that Ms. Jackson Lee just couldn’t help herself and just had to take to the House floor Tuesday night and bitch about? And bitch about? And bitch about? Wait a minute, the white woman was the one who was the victim who was hit in the head, knocked out and left for dead, not the black couple. So, on the House floor Jackson Lee was bitching about what? Confused yet?
In the commercial the white chick is the victim but to a moron like Jackson Lee, up is down, left is right and round is square. Confused yet?
Picture this commercial: A white couple sitting on a park bench having an argument. The woman throws a can of Pepsi Max at her boyfriend but instead the can hits a black woman in the head who is sitting on another bench, knocking her unconscious to the ground. Then the white couple look at each other, laugh and flee the scene of the crime.
Now picture this: Al Shapton on every talk and squawk show bitching and whining about how racist the commercial was because two white people attacked a black woman and left her for dead. Confused yet?
If the Pepsi commercial was racist it was racist towards white Americans and not black Americans. And it is shameful that Rep. Jackson Lee wasted the House’s time when there are more important issues facing our nation today.
Confused yet? You should be. Don’t forget to question everyone and everything, because up is up, down is down, left is left, right is right, round is round and square is square. And don’t let anyone try to confuse you and tell you otherwise.
Oh, and did I mention Pepsi Max enough? After all it was a commercial.
The ad
The Hannity Panel discussed it last night:
What do you think, is this ad racist or are people really going nuts?
