Hannity had Frank Luntz do a Focus Group with Iowa Voters. Part of which (the first clip in this post) aired last week the second part aired tonight.
Based on this group I would say Iowa voters are still wide open on who they would support, sort of places doubt on all the polls out there claiming Iowa is leaning one way or another.
As for Governor Palin. Iowa voters clearly want her to run and want to hear what she has to say. Frank does make a good point (in the second clip) where he says that when Governor Palin cites her experience and record voters find her very impressive.
Governor Palin is the most famous person that nobody knows anything about. Her name recognition doesn’t matter because most of those who recognize her couldn’t accurately state what it is that she stands for. At this stage Governor Palin is the most unknown known candidate. All people know about her is what the media is feeding them. A campaign will of course change all that.
Enjoy the Clips!
