Well, it’s official: President Obama’s campaign to brainwash, manipulate and buy off the American people is now in full swing.
Foxnews reports:
President Obama is officially running for re-election in 2012, his campaign announced Monday morning in a web video.
His campaign website, BarackObama.com, was updated with a “2012″ logo and a video featuring grassroots activists.
The short message actually did not feature the president at all, trying to emphasize getting people involved on the ground.
The site also had this message, “This campaign is just kicking off. We’re opening up offices, unpacking boxes, and starting a conversation with supporters like you to help shape our path to victory. 2012 begins now, and this is where you say you’re in.”
For an incumbent president to launch a re-election campaign without citing a single accomplishment is quite telling. Nor did the president even have the courage to look the voters straight in the eye, the president himself appears in the video just in passing.
It’s obvious that this ad is targeted at minorities and Independents. The presidents message to independents appears to be, “hey you don’t agree with me, or with anything I’ve done but let me remind you why you voted for me in the first place; my charisma, and I still have that”. At least he thinks so.
As I noted last week. All Obama needs to do is use three words: “Examine my record” and that ought to be enough. But he won’t. That’s because he is well aware that if he does run on his record, he doesn’t have a chance. It’s a safe bet that the words “examine my record” or “look at my track record” will not find its way anywhere within the Obama campaign.

The Republican National Committee (RNC) posted a video rebuttal to the president’s announcement today:
Brit Hume offered the following commentary:
Hume is right on the money, 2012 will come down to money, but not to the money Obama has in mind. The upcoming election will be about jobs, the economy and unemployment. No matter how many billions the Obama campaign spend, the American people will vote with the money they have in their pockets and not based on the money Obama has in his.

[…] out about all the foreign contributions he received. No wonder he needs a Billion Dollars to manipulate the American people this time. Seems he can’t rely on the shenanigans this time […]
