A movie dramatisation of Prince William and Kate Middleton’s romance is to be given a UK TV screening.
The US-made film, William & Kate: The Movie, will be shown by Channel 5 as part of the station’s royal wedding coverage this month.
The film stars relative unknown Camilla Luddington as Kate while New Zealand-born actor Nico Evers-Swindell plays William.
Chariots Of Fire actor Ben Cross also features as the Prince of Wales.
The film is also being released on DVD.
The film chronicles the couple’s nine-year-relationship from when they first met at the University of St Andrews.

Katie Keenan, Channel 5’s head of acquisitions, said: “The William and Kate movie has sparked worldwide interest and anticipation and we are really pleased that Channel 5 will be able to offer viewers its UK TV premiere.”
The TV movie will be broadcast in the US on 18 April, 11 days before the royal wedding, on the Lifetime TV network.
Meanwhile, BBC soap EastEnders will feature characters celebrating the big event.
A BBC spokeswoman said producers were hoping to intercut its filmed scenes with actual footage from the ceremony at Westminster Abbey.
