People across Wales are being given the chance to leave wedding messages in congratulation books for Prince William and Kate Middleton.
Messages can be left at Welsh Assembly Government offices in Cathays Park, Cardiff, the Senedd in Cardiff Bay, Llandudno, Aberystwyth and Merthyr.
The books are available from Monday until 6 May.
The prince, 28, and Miss Middleton, 29, are to marry at Westminster Abbey on 29 April, a national bank holiday.
William, the second in line to the throne, will start married life with his bride on Anglesey, where he is serving as a search and rescue pilot at RAF Valley.
One of the couple’s first public appearances was at a RNLI station on the island.
First Minister Carwyn Jones called the wedding message books “a unique way for Wales to mark this historic occasion”.
“The books will then be compiled into a suitable volume to present to the newlyweds after the wedding,” he said.
Assembly Presiding Officer Lord Dafydd Elis-Thomas said: “As Prince William and Catherine Middleton are living on Ynys Mon, and will continue to enjoy their early married life together here, it is most appropriate that the people of Wales have this opportunity to wish them well personally.”
