A leopard in India mauled nearly a dozen villagers before wildlife officials got the situation under control. The leopard had escaped from a wildlife sanctuary and terrorized a nearby village. Forest rangers fired gunshots at the leopard, trying to get him back into the wildlife sanctuary he came from. The leopard was eventually tranquilized and died from its injuries.
