Laura Ingraham sitting in for O’Reilly spoke to Bill by phone about the debt ceiling debate.  O’Reilly noted that Americans see Obama and the Democrats as out of touch and clueless about the debt. The Republican party is looked at as being divided and working against each other.

O’Reilly says that Americans and the world have lost all respect for Obama and that the President is damaged. He argued that the only ones who can save Obama are the Republicans themselves.

Ingraham points out that the Tea Party should accept this deal because this is the best they’ll get. If the Boehner plan fails it’ll get much worse.
