Appearing on Fox News Sunday, Iowa Governor Terry Branstad was asked by Chris Wallace to respond to the comments made by Jon Huntsman that “they pick corn in Iowa, they actually pick Presidents here in New Hampshire.”

Branstad said that by choosing not to participate in the Iowa caucus: “Huntsman is a Loser, he’s got no chance, he’s not even going to be considered in New Hampshire”. Branstad said that he told Huntsman personally that he is making a huge mistake.

Asked whether Iowa should be the ones to “decide” who gets to be president, he said “Yes, because Iowans take the responsibility very seriously”
